Antique vs. Vintage
When a piece of jewelry has been made over 100 years ago it can be classified as Antique.
Vintage, on the other hand, is known to define pieces made anytime within the last 100 years.

Vintage-Inspired
Any pieces considered to be "vintage-inspired" are pieces that are new and either reproductions or models similar to original antique designs. Most rings from retailers that are labeled vintage are actually "vintage-inspired". Vintage-inspired rings often use antique or vintage cut diamonds such as the Old Mine Cut or Old European Cut, but have newly made settings.
