Will the engraving wear off?
The durability of an engraving done on the outside of a piece often times depends on the durability of the metal itself, the wear, and the environment of the piece being worn. Engravings on the inside of a ring, for example, will last much longer because it is protected from other surfaces. We produce the best quality engraving to last on each piece we do.

Where should my engraving be on my ring?
Usually, most engravings are done on the inside of the ring. This way others can't see your special message unless you take the ring off. This generally works best for machine setup engraving. However, some people want the world to see their engraving. In this case, they choose to have their engraving done on the outside of the ring. When they are wearing their ring, others can see their engraving message, pattern, or design. These designs are generally done by hand engraving or laser engraving, though sometimes are machine engraved. |
There is no right or wrong place to engrave your ring. It all comes
down to personal preference, and we are proud to be able to
offer you the option that suits you best.
