Set at a time between wars when humanity came together and celebrated with natural art wonders in finely crafted items. Belle Époque in French literally means "the beautiful era".  

During this time industry and technology progressed tremendously and because of this wealth proceeded flourishing the arts.  Cinema boomed and had great influence on style changing from practical to fashion forward.   This was a time when Platinum took the main stage in delicate latticework.

The philosophy was to use motifs like bows, florals, fauna, including the movement of nature as wearable art. Pearls took off and because amazingly popular with the first cultured pearls hitting the market.  Enameling coming from Europe including piqué a jour jumped in popularity.  Moonstone and opals became of great interest as organic gems along with the fairytale designs with diamonds were all the motivation of the time periods fashion.

The outbreak of World War I brought Europe's harmonizing to an end and dampened the trends all of the fashion world including jewelry. Much of the resources were subsequently used in the war effort.  This amazing period of time produced some of the finest and most intricate workmanship seen in jewelry.  The combination of machine assistance and true craftsman fabrication meshed beautifully to create amazing pieces.
