NEWS ALERT: There is a major revival of the brooch!

Women and men with exquisite tastes are finding themselves drawn to the beauty and versatility of brooches. The traditional ways of wearing a brooch on a blazer are being revamped for a modern day new look. The new brooch styles at a glance:

On the mask
That's right!  Numerous celebrities, fashion icons, and influencers alike have joined the trend we started in March of 2019 when the Covid-19 pandemic began to take shape! Adding a brooch to the side of the mask is what finally brought back the brooch (that an a little help to the hashtag #bringbackthebrooch which we started many years ago on our first Instagram account. (PS my favorite is a small seahorse brooch left to the family from my grandmother!)

At the Collar
You needn’t wear a scarf around your neck to enjoy the look of a brooch at the neckline.  Today, fashioning one over the top button of your oxford shirt or arrange one at the collar of your sweater to complete the look.

On Pockets
Sometimes tradition and history just get it right.  A brooch on the lapel of your jacket can be done with classic elegance.  A bit more modern take on this look is to secure one to the breast pocket instead changing the tradition yet keeping the classic style in tact.

Hat, headband, hairpiece, and veil
Any object of clothing can become a bejeweled masterpiece.  That being said some styles just become an instant hit.  Attaching a diamond barrettes to a veil can make the wedding day jewelry something to remember.  Not the wedding day? No problem!  Secure something delicate to a hat, or a simplistic brooch to a headband and shimmer in style.

On a Tie
