Why sell my mineral collection?"
There are many reasons to sell your mineral collection. Perhaps you have run out of room, and no longer have a way to display your crystal collection. Maybe it was an old hobby or something someone gave you. Maybe you've inherited a mineral collection and don't know what to do with it? Possibly time is passing and your children or grandchildren aren't interested in your mineral and rock collection. Most minerals have been around for millions of years, and hopefully they will remain intact and "valued," for the foreseeable future. There are many horror stories of rock collections being "thrown away," in dumpsters, discarded, given away, or gifted by family members, "estate buyers" and executors. Some are even sold for pennies at garage sales. We are interested in buying mineral collection collections, mineral and rock specimens, and gemstones whether rough or polished.
We buy old mineral and rock collections.
We are looking to buy quality minerals, gemstones, and specimens. Seeing the pieces in person to assess its value is imperative when it comes to purchasing a mineral or rock collection. Regardless of where the collection is, please contact us to discuss the possible sale of a rock, gemstone, or mineral collection Send us pictures! That is the first thing we will ask for regardless of how we communicate. We travel through out the country buying jewelry, mineral collections, gemstone collections, antique jewelry boxes, and other jewelry related items. Taking some pictures of a few of the better pieces, and a few of the more average pieces can be greatly helpful in us helping you with the process. Other helpful things to know would be:
Do you know where the piece was found?.
Where you are located?
Do you see breaks or problems with pieces?
Do you know were any of the pieces repaired?
Do you have an asking price for pieces, or for the collection itself?
The more information we have, the better.
We also purchase partial mineral or gemstone collections. Some collectors will ship a gemstone collection or mineral collection to us in stages. As we receive a box, we call you to discuss each package.
If you have significant mineral specimens in which you have asking prices we would love to hear about them.
We are also able to help if you want to sell a fossil collection as well. We are serious buyers and have gemstones in Museums!

- How long have you owned them?
- What size are they (generally speaking)?
