Uno A Erre
Uno A Erre was founded on March 15, 1926 by Leopoldo Gori and Carlo Zucchi, in the city of Arezzo, Italy. Together their goldsmithing operations grew slowly at first but greatly in the 1950s and 1960s with their designs selling well. By the early 1960s they had employed more than 1200 staff until economies changed the workforce was reduced. In the mid 1990's both of the Gori-Zucchi families decided to sell the company to Morgenf Enfield a Deutsche Bank Group. Shortly thereafter the Zucchi family put together the financing to repurchase the company. The moved the company, its operations, and factory in 2008. With that they began to produce again lighter pieces that were more likely to sell as gold began to move upward. They continued the expansion with the production of accessories as well.
