Tissot
Tissot was founded in 1853 by Charles-Félicien Tissot and his son Charles-Émile Tissot in Le Locle, Switzerland. Their sales improved as Charles Emile decided to travel to Russia in 1858 and began selling their timepieces. The business continued to grow and in 1930 the business merged with Omega SA to form SSIH (Société Suisse pour l'Industrie Horlogère). By 1938 Tissot began hosting official times for downhill skiing events in Switzerland which continued well into the 1950s.
