SOLD: The Luciana: Important Edwardian filigree Line Pin Featuring white and fancy light pink side stones!
Absolutely outstanding and totally Original Edwardian handmade platinum (platinum except for 14kt white gold pin for safety-platinum would bend too easy) and diamond bar pin. Incredibly made with extremely fine filigree work and milgrain. So well made that the maker even added a handmade platinum scroll to the undercarriage to make the pin sit straight by counter balancing the weight of the platinum when being worn. There are also hand made scrolls and throughout the perspective view for incredible finishing work.
The pin is set with a 0.25 carat old mine cut Si1 g diamond center. A 0.53 carat old European cut diamond is bezel set on either side of the center diamond with an approximate Gemological Institute of America clarity grade of vs1 and a color grad of G. Yes that’s 1.31 carats total weight in just the center three diamonds.
The rest of the pin is set with all original old mine cut diamonds that have an approximate clarity grade ranging from Si1-i1 these diamonds also have an approximate Gemological Institute of America color grade of fancy light PINK. Approximate 2.50 carats total weight in the pinkish stones by measurement.
Total diamond weight approximately 3.77 carats by measurement.
The side diamonds appear to be a fancy light pink by GIA grading standards. The piece is hand pierced and finished with filigree and has a 14 karat white gold pin back. Note the rest of the piece tested platinum.
The pin measures over 3 inches in length and is over 1/2 inch wide at the center.
PLEASE NOTE: all clarity and color grades are limited to estimated due to the fact that the stones are mounted. All diamond weights are estimates based on mounting.
