Likely the original Pin, or Hat piece from Colonel Montgomery M Macomb and beautifully crafted in 14 karat yellow gold with 6th Field Artillery Regiment Distinctive Unit Insignia at the top. The piece is in outstanding condition. The original pin stem was removed from the reverse so that it could be worn as a pendant.
