Sigurd Persson
Sigurd Persson (1914-2003) was a Swedish silver designer and one of the most significant figures in the Scandinavian modernist movement. He was renowned for his innovative approach to silver design, creating sculptural pieces that often incorporated organic forms and experimental techniques. Persson's work has been exhibited in numerous international exhibitions and is represented in collections of major museums worldwide. Some of his most famous pieces include a collection of abstract cutlery called "Flame," and a teapot with a wooden handle that won the prestigious Lunning Prize in 1955.
