René Kern was founded in 1948 in Germany. Located in the well-known shopping street of Düsseldorf, the Königsallee, at number 26 they became known for well made high quality jewelry and the reputation grew. The company continued to grow and expanded into luxury watches and continued their growth in jewelry design before being sold to Douglas Holding AG then finally to Bucherer.
