Pederzani
In 1925 Gino Pederzani left Verona, Italy and began working as a clerk at Fraccari's counter in Milan a company that sold precious stones and metals. This was his first education in jewelry and in a few short years he moved companies to Argenteria Giacchè in Milan's via Manzoni. When World War II broke out he moved to Porto Ceresio by the Lake of Lugano to stay safe and decided to commute to Milan. DUring the war years he met Mr. Nannini the directory of Milanese Jewelers association. They developed a friendship together and at the end of the war they opened Nannini-Pederzani jeweler's. Shortly after Mr Nannini passed away leaving Pederzani to run the company.
he year 1947 marked an historic date for Pederzani jeweler's: the war had just ended and Italy was covered in ruins and an enormous willpower was needed to start up a new business adventure. Mr. Nannini had recently passed away but determination and courage never failed Mr. Pederzani who, after taking over the antique stamp shop in via Montenapoleone 1, opened the eponymous jeweler's on November 20th, 1947. In the new shop, besides Mr Perezani worked his wife Giovanna and soon also their two sons Claudio and Alberto joined the family business. By 1962 Pederzani grew the business tremendously and even purchased the adjacent place next door. By 1970 Claudio, Gino's son took over the business and launched the heart shaped diamond cut as well as fancy yellow diamonds which just began to take trend. The business did phenomenal and in 1990 the third generation took the helm with Alberto Jr Claudio's son taking the helm.
