Michael Bondanza
Michael Bondanza started in jewelry in New York City in the early 1970's. He is a self taught artisan crafting pieces in the heart of New York City. He began his career crafting a belt buckle and working in sterling silver, graduating to 18 karat gold and incorporated other elements like rosewood. As he progressed he began to work in platinum and began to combine platinum and 18 karat which attracted other jewelers to his styles. In 1974 he began offering his jewelry to jewelers who took notice on Fifth Avenue, notably Cartier. Business grew and his style progressed and in 1977 his business was incorporated using the trademark “Platinum Redefined.”
