Louis Zorra
Louis Zorra was born in Asti, Italy. There he learned the craftsmanship of Italian jewelers. Wanting to be closer to the source of style and design of the time Zorra moved to Paris. Heavily influenced by others in Paris he began to design and create Art Nouveau jewels. His jewels often were quite simple yet the designs were highly focused and impeccable. His work was coveted and he exhibited at the Salons of the Society des Artistes Francais as well as the Paris 1900 Exhibition where his works were shown with other greats of the time though less noticed as his strive was for design and he focused less on enamels and stones which were just starting to become popular at the time.
