Julius Cohen
Julius Cohen (1914 – 1995) founded his business in New York in 1956. He began work in jewelry at 16 when he joined his uncle’s company, Oscar Heyman Bros. He stayed with Oscar Heyman Brothers for thirteen years learning both design and manufacture of jewelry.
In 1942 he joined Harry Winston and worked directly with developing markets and direct to each client. Julius decided to open his own firm to combine all the technical and personal skills he had acquired. The company went through a second and is now in its third generation in New York.
