Ikepod
The Ikepod is a Swiss watch company founded in 1994 by Oliver Ike and Marc Newson. The company grew and began designing big diameter design watches in the millennial years with cases in gold, silver, steel, platinum and titanium. In 2017 Newson and Ike left the company and the brand was bought in April of the same year by three new investors in Mauborget, Switzerland including Christian Louis Col. The new generation Ikepods have maintained the original design elements but have overcome the technical complications and are now produced in Hong Kong with Miyota quartz movements yet are designed by Emmanuel Gueit in Switzerland. Ikepod relaunched on Kickstarter in September 2018 to begin reselling the brand.
