Martin Guthmann
Martin Guthmann started his namesake in 1906 as a jewelry manufacturing business in Pforzheim, Germany. The business grew and subsequently expanded to sell more retail. As the retail was estabilished manufacturing still remained in Germany even after subsequent generations took over the company. Milled, stamped, drawn and cast parts in the factory are assembled by hand in smaller series still to this day. The designs include among other things old jewelry shapes and ornaments from the company’s archive which are recast and assembled with updated traditional manufacturing techniques. Today (August 2021) Christian, the forth generation, is at the helm of the company
