Emmanuel Tarpin first became known in jewelry in 2017 as a 25-year-old when he sold his large-scale Geranium Leaf aluminum earrings at a Christie’s auction for $25,000. Tarpin grew up in the French Alps and earned his degree from the Haute École d’Art et de Design in Geneva and then spent three years at Van Cleef & Arpels’s Paris workshop before starting his company. He started his company from his Paris apartment and took inspiration from his rooftop garden. Tarpin works alone creating his pieces unconcerned with traditional jewelry conventions. His pieces have attracted the attention of celebrities around the world.
