Christopher Ward
In May of 2004 on a trip down the Thames river Peter Ellis and Mike France had recently sold Early Learning Centre and Chris Ward was 'bored' with importing T-shirts. So they formed the idea to start a watch company. From here the found the profit margins to be better than they originally thought when speaking with friends in the manufacturing industry. So they started the business to create a different type of premium watch business making less expensive premium watches. On June 2nd 2005, the started Christopher Ward from a converted chicken shed on a farm in Berkshire, United Kingdom as an online only company. The brand started by producing just two models, the C5 Malvern Automatic and the C3 Malvern Chronograph. As sales and their reputation grew the brand grew expanding into other models and growing exponentially.
