Charles Pillet was born in France in 1869 and learned to appreciate the arts at a young age. Not much is known about his career and path of life however we do know he began making jewelry around the 1890's. He focused his work on the metalwork and Art Nouveau design crafting pieces with very few, if any, stones. His business did well and sold locally to mainly retail clientele. He also worked in bronze, brass, and copper, and other metals to make his pieces more affordable.
