Charles de Temples
Charles de Temples was born in Mexico in 1929. As a child he traveled and was raised as part of the Ringling Brothers Circus which traveled throughout the United States. De Temples began to work in jewelry and clients enjoyed his statement pieces. As his work sold he began to design larger and more extravagant pieces. This caught the attention of clients in bigger cities such as New York and even London where his work took off in the mid 1960's. The attention from his large pieces attracted high profile clients and movie producers (so much so his pieces can be seen in James Bond films in 1932). The 1960's and early 1970's his business grew due to his imagination and more wild designs. These works inspired many others to think and create outside the box.
