Bremont
Bremont was founded by brothers Nick and Giles English in 2001. Nick and Giles learned their mechanical abilities from their father Dr Euan English who taught them clock assembly, airplane and yacht construction. On 4 March 1995 Euan English was killed during a airplane crash in which Nick was also badly injured. It occurred when their World War II-vintage Harvard aircraft crashed during a training flight for an air show. The crash spurred the brothers to create their own watch company and in 2001 they set up their company. They picked the name Bremont after a kind farmer who had helped them store one of their planes named Antoine Bremont. Sales grew and so did their manufacturing eventually expanding in 2021 into a new manufacturing facility.
