Andrew Clunn
Andrew Clunn was born in England and emigrated to the United States. In 1963 he began an apprenticeship to David Webb. Clunn worked his way up at David Webb working a variety of positions before becoming second in command at Webb in a short time of just twelve years. He attracted the attention of some of Webb's best clients like the Duchess of Windsor and Elizabeth Taylor. When Webb passed away in 1975 Clunns relationship with the Webb company began to decline. Then in 1980 Clunn opened his own shop in New York on Madison Ave. He focused on unique and distinctive designs for distinguished families in Europe and North America and his company continued onward. In February 2016 he passed away in Rye, New York.
