Alfred Dörner
Alfred Dörner (1906-1971) was one of the leading goldsmiths in the Ruhr area of Hagen, Germany. Alfred began his career in larger iron works such as railings and transitioned to jewelry as his attention to detail allowed him to focus on smaller items. His business grew and production included a host of different jewelry items. The business grew and Aldred's daughter Ursula joined the business. After her fathers death in 1971 she took over the business and continued to run it successfully.
