Alex Sepkus
Alex Sepkus began as sculptor and engraver in Soviet Lithuania after studying industrial design. He began by working in ivory, wood, and stones as working in gold and other precious metals was illegal at the time. He continued to work on smaller pieces until he was working almost entirely under a microscope often developing his own tools. Then in 1991, Alex met Jeff Feero who he partnered with shortly after to move forward in jewelry. With funding of $10,000 dollars between them, they opened Alex Sepkus Studios. The company began to grow and expand as a manufacturing jeweler creating for retailers to sell the brand.
